Copper Cypress Paddle

I purchased a big sheet of copper for this one. I hammered the copper to get a topography look and then with vinegar and salt we created that green patina. I picked up some cypress wood from a local gentleman that has a small mill at his house. I then cut and carved the cypress into a paddle and stained it with a natural salt stain. I attached it to the copper that now looks like mountains and valleys and I finished the piece off with one of my rusted frames. It hangs with provided French cleats.
