Copper Grayling

This one has a similar story to my Copper Paddle. The Grayling is hand carved from a piece of cypress wood that I found at a small local mill. I stained it with a natural salt stain. The background is copper that I hammered to create a topography look. We then gave it a green patina with vinegar and salt. I finished the piece with one of my beautiful, rusted steel frames. The frame is coated with polyurethane a few times to protect that awesome rust patina. We provide the French cleats to hang easily and securely.
